Octopuses have tentacles with suckers that allow them to capture their prey and move easily over the ocean floor. Large, specialized cells in skin called chromatophores allow instant color changes.

Behavior

Nocturnal, hiding during the day in crevices and caves and under rocks. Octopuses have rather sophisticated eyes and excellent vision. Beak located at base of arms is used to bite and some times inject a toxin which paralyzes prey. Release ink screen for escape
